We are SUPER excited that Senior Week has been such a success! It's been so much fun giving out the gift cards! We will continue featuring some current and upcoming seniors on our blog during the weeks as they are getting ready to graduate as well as those getting ready to enter into their graduating year.

My last feature this week is Regents School of Austin upcoming senior, McKenna Dunworth AND Westlake High School upcoming senior, Ruth Young | both class of 2018.

Austin, Texas upcoming seniors, Ruth and McKenna have been friends since they were in kindergarten and were a blast to photograph together! That is one of the things I love about inviting a best friend along on your senior portrait session - they tend to forget about the photoshoot and just have fun and laugh together and it's so natural in front of the camera! Good friends will bring out the best in each other and one of the things I love most about my job, is creatively documenting meaningful relationships and interactions. Candid laughter and inside jokes are the BEST!

It's also nice to have that friend along, that will help you with your outfits and tell you when you have lipstick on your teeth and tell you when you slay. But....we happen to have a makeup artist, that will fix that lipstick - so you can focus on telling each other you look fabulous and just have fun! If I could tell my future self about it, I would say it's so amazing to look back on pictures during this time in your life, just before you've gone off to college and grown so much. I truly cherish the pictures I have with my best girlfriends and they are just out of focus snapshots. I would absolutely LOVE to have some amazing professional lifestyle images like this, of my best girlfriends together.
