STUDIO POLICIES
SENIOR|TEEN BOOKING REQUIREMENT:
If you are a minor (under 18), you may arrange and pay for your own appointment at your own discretion, but your parent or guardian must still meet with us and finalize your booking by signing a photography release giving us permission to photograph you. If they cannot meet in person, they must at least book a video appointment so that we can address any questions they may have.
PRICING TRANSPARENCY:
Chele is a magical, experienced, and award-winning photographer providing a fun, modern, luxury photoshoot that is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime, empowering experience for most teens. Her finished artwork is offered in a beautiful selection of matte prints, wall art, albums, and digital images that can be purchased a la carte, or within a collection. All products are sold separately and not included in your session and retainer fee.
At this time, there is a minimum purchaserequirement included with your session retainer to cover our time spent to consult, style, design, scout, photograph, create and process your experience and artwork, as well as host a reveal and ordering appointment for you. Your minimum purchase amount is based on which session style you choose and is used like a gift card on the date of your gallery reveal to purchase products featuring the images you love. Your final purchase may go over this amount. In that case, the difference would be due on the date of purchase and ordering appointment (aka: The Gallery Reveal). Sales tax is always added and due at the time of artwork purchase for all tangible products.
We are aware that some seniors are paying for their own portraits, while others will be purchased by parents or other family members. We do accept payment plans, but product will not be delivered until your order is paid in full.
All payments made are nonrefundable as we begin the finishing process of your artwork as soon as you place your order. If your parent or guardian is the person who will be purchasing your portraits at your Gallery Reveal, we encourage them review our portrait collection and a la carte pricing before booking so that they may ask questions or come by the studio and view our beautiful products in person prior to booking. Product pricing can be requested at any time via email or by phone call. All of our products are heirloom quality and made to last for generations, with proper care.
We are here to help you get the finest experience from start to finish and provide personal assistance during the selection process at your reveal appointment so that it will not be overwhelming.
RESCHEDULING POLICY FOR PORTRAIT SESSIONS:
Rescheduling is discouraged, but can understandably occur from time to time - especially when booked really far in advance. Rescheduling your Portrait Experience to another available date is subject to an additional fee that matches the session fee portion of the initial session you booked - minus your product credit - in order to hold your new date. For example: A Platinum would be $300. A Gold would be $200. A Weekday would be $75.
Canceling or rescheduling is also subject to cancelation fees required by the hair and makeup artist hired for your previously scheduled session, to compensate for their loss of work incurred that day, as well. Those fees are based on their own business policies and are not included with our own. Cancellations deeply affect the livelihood of service industry workers and their families they support, and is not taken lightly. Please only cancel or reschedule when absolutely necessary.
If you booked with a promotional discount or fundraiser voucher, it is exclusive to your commitment of the originally booked date and time that we had agreed to donate. Should you need to reschedule your date of service, you will be responsible for the full booking fee at the time of rescheduling the appointment since we are unable to donate multiple dates for a single prize or donation. Those fees are as follows: Platinum $300, Gold $200, Weekday $75, and any product donated remains the same. Please see our cancellation policy below before booking if you feel you may not be able to fully commit to an appointment.
STUDIO CANCELLATION POLICY:

CANCELLATION (without reschedule) must be executed at least 30 days or greater, prior to appointment date, to receive refund in full, unless consultation and styling services have already begun, in which case, studio retains 100% of session fees for those services to offset loss of business, as it is too late to fill that spot.
Prepayment of booking fees serves as a commitment by all: client, photographer, and HMUA, as well as venues, to your session date and time, as well as all services rendered prior to, during, and following that session, by the studio.
If cancellation is made by the client within the 29 day window prior to session date, the studio shall retain 100% prepaid session fee + 10% of prepaid product credit, to offset it's loss of business. If client does not show for the appointment, the studio shall retain all monies paid. "Consultation" is defined as detailed discussion of any of the following: Session styling, planning, clothing, scouting & reserving locations, whether discussed in-person, on phone, text messages, or via webcam, and is considered loss of time and loss of income, should the session be cancelled after consultations have begun.
This policy is set in place to protect our sustainable business model and commitment of valuable time to both my clients and my family. Once time is scheduled, all other inquiries are declined, including family time opportunities.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
Inclement weather days occur from time to time. It is at the studio's discretion whether or not to reschedule. This decision is often made within hours of the scheduled arrival time and is always seriously considered due to the investment of all involved in a portrait session, including the desired outcome of the creative artwork. Clients rescheduled by the studio due to inclement weather will be worked back into the schedule as soon as possible, without loss or variance of original session fees and retainer monies.
